DAY 14 - LAST DAY IN SEOUL - TUESDAY 10 MAY

The grand, marble-lined, modernist National Museum of Korea displays ancient treasures - you're first faced with the Goryeo-dynasty Ten-Storey Pagoda carved from marble

The ceramics are a highlight

as are ceremonial temple bells

and examples of decorative tiles which are placed at the end of timbers across roofs

We saw the old wall from the Namsam tower on Saturday morning, and we found it with the Dongdaenum Gate

Nearby is the Design Park where there are thousands of white "roses" with LED centres (sadly we weren't there for light-up time but they're still pretty impressive)
